Every bottle of Hope Blooms dressing purchased, directly contributes to an education fund for youth in Halifax’s urban centre. They grow the herbs themselves and bottle the dressings by hand.
Since 2008, Hope Blooms has had a measurable impact on the community of North End Halifax in food security, community confidence and inclusion, and education.
Empowering youth to be actively engaged in building environments that impact their communities. Since inception they have grown tens of thousands of pounds of organic vegetables and fruit for community members dealing with food insecurity. Each month they provide, 260 healthy meals and 306 healthy snacks to community members in the Halifax inner city, all free of charge.
